Beat 6

·         Shift weight onto left foot and, keeping knees bent a bit more than usual, pivot to your right.

·         Your body should have moved clockwise so that you now have your back to your partner.

·         Do not lean on your partner or extend your arm out straight.

Beat 7

·         Slide left foot forward to join right foot and pivot on your right foot.

·         You should continue moving clockwise and end up back at center.

·         Transfer weight to left foot.

·         Lift right heel in preparation for next basic step.

WARNING: Keep feet on or close to the floor at all times. Spinning with the lower leg sticking out at a right angle may cause injury to your partner or other dancers on the floor.
