Face your partner in open position. Do not lock knees. Feet move the same as a basic step.  Arms are different.
 

Beat 1

·         With weight on right foot, gently push left hand slightly forward.

·         Keeping both knees bent, step forward with left foot.

·         Transfer weight to left foot.

 

Beat 2

·         Without moving feet, shift weight back to right foot and straighten right leg.

·         Begin to raise left arm.

 

Beat 3

·         Move left foot back to center.

·         Raise left arm so hand is just above Follow’s head.

·         Transfer weight to left foot.

 

Beat 5

·         Release right hand.

·         Keeping both knees bent, step back with right foot.

·         Push left arm forward so that hand is next to Follow’s head.

·         Transfer weight to right foot.

   

 

 

 Beat 6

·         Without moving feet, shift weight back to left foot and straighten left leg.

·         Rotate wrist to help turn Follow.

 

WARNING: Do not create circular motion with entire arm as if stirring a large pot. This will cause Follow to lose balance and may cause injury. 

 

Beat 7  

·         Move right foot back to center.

·         Take Follow’s left hand in your right as before.

·         Transfer weight to right foot.

·         Bring left arm back down to height of basic step.

 

Repeat while counting 1, 2, 3 and 5, 6, 7 and 1, 2, 3 and 5, 6, 7 until you can do it without instructions.
